"But I have discovered this: The Lost Tome of the Dead! It has the spell inside!"

Flamestar looked up. "You don't think I have tried that. I have been alive for years I have been every where in the world. I have tried the spell believe me it didn't work."

"But this one is different! It is imbued with the power of the dead. I have used this and it has worked!" A cat walked up to him. It was a kit, long dead, called Honeykit.

Who are you?" Flamepelt asked. He thought for a while about what Tigerstar had said. Maybe he didn't want to die. Maybe he was forever living because he had to lead the clans forever.

"Im Honeykit..." she said in a squeeky voice that sounded exactly like it had 8 moons ago.

"So your another long living cat or kit." Flamepelt said shocked he had never met another one of his own kind.

"That's interesting..." commented Rainstar. "How do you do that?" she asked the little kit.

Flamepelt said. "You don't get to choose. There are three ways. 1. Starclan needs you to live forever. 2.Someone casts a spell on you. 3.Someone you love more then anything dies right before your eyes. I hate the 3rd rule. That is what happened to me. When it makes you live forever it makes you grieve everyday forever." Flamestar said his was tearing up.

Rainstar padded over to Flamepelt. "ok" she said "That's enough of that kind of talk". She began to lick Flamepelt's shoulder soothingly.

Flamepelt looked at her. He was crying. "Thank you. I just hate thinking about my mate, Hazelbush and our kits, Leafstem, Lionmane, and Rosebud." Flamepelt said. Starting to calm down.

Rainstar licked his tears away then stood up abruptly. "OK, so are we gonna eat or not? Why did we come here anyway?" she asked AGAIN.

"I don't know." Flamepelt said. "But I'm hungry." He grabbed a vole and started eating it. "This is good. Nice and fresh."

"yes" said Rainstar, having started on a rabbit. "mmmm Excellent, Tigerstar".

"Honeykit DID die. I brought her back to life. Would you like your mates and kits?" She started muttering incantations softly under her breath. Suddenly, 4 figures appeared behind Tigerstar. It was Hazelbush, Leafstem, Lionmane, and Rosebud.

Rainstar's eyes grew huge and she froze. ~What- how did this happen?~ she thought. "Flamepelt, you should probably look at this.

Flamepelt turned around. He stood up and stared at them. "Oh my god." He fell and fainted.

"Flamepelt?" Rainstar whispered. "Flamepelt, are you ok?". She prodded him with a paw, hoping that he would get up soon and not keep his loved ones waiting.

"Wha... What?" Flamepelt got up and ran to Hazelbush. "Oh Hazelbush. I had missed you so much. And oh my kits." Flamepelt licked them all on the noses.

"you're welcome, flamepelt." she said in a sarcastic tone

"Thanks Tigerstar." He licked Hazelbush's muzzle a thousand times.

Rainstar sighed loudly. "Why can't I be loved like that?" she wondered aloud.

"I'm sure you'll find someone Rainstar." Flamepelt said between licking.

Moonmist watched him. She remembered her parents...She looked away. They died before her eyes, even if she never saw who did it. Did that mean she'd live forever?
But she swore she knew Hazelbush. She didn't know her...but she felt a connection to her. Did Hazelbush feel it too? She just turned her back on Flamepelt and the others.

"Thanks for the sympathy, Flamepelt." Rainstar replied. She noticed Mooonmist's face. "Moonmist, are you ok?" Rainstar asked cautiously.

Moonmist didn't reply. She just kept thinking. She was dead...a reincarnation? Maybe she was connected to her like that...she wasn't sure. She did look a bit like Hazelbush.
